Choose licensed Cody Country Outfitters and Guides for all of your hunting needs and be assured of a quality hunt. Outfitters and Guides in our Association have the knowledge and skills necessary for their hunt areas and strive to meet the needs of individual hunters.

Our outfitters have designated, well maintained camps and ranches or alternative accommodations that cover all of northwest Wyoming and the surrounding Yellowstone National Park area.

Make new friends through great hunting experiences, Members of the Cody Country Outfitters and Guides Association offer a wide variety of outdoor opportunities on public land.

The Outfitter's role becomes significant when realizing the majority of the American public lacks adequate skills, knowledge or equipment to safely visit much of this country on their own. With this in mind, federal land managers have recognized outfitters and guides as essential "public service agents" and commercial liaisons in seeing that the people can enjoy their own wild country. To accomplish their public lands mission, land managers recognize outfitters and guides as full partners in providing quality public services, public health and safety, and protection of natural resources.

Outfitters play a key role in providing adequate equipment, supplies, transportation, livestock, and personnel who help with supervision, resource-based information, education, training and entertainment.
